As with every other town or municipality in America, Rehoboth Beach boasts it’s fair share of jewelry stores. Many are very nice, offering the finest in diamonds and pearls and other items for yourself or for your special someone.

But there’s a special kind of jewelry that’s only found primarily along the eastern seaboard of the United States. And that includes coastal Delaware, where it’s often found in abundance.

There’s even a wildly popular show held at the Lewes Historical Society every summer that celebrates its uniqueness, it’s creativity and it’s vast appeal. And that, my friends, is the art of sea glass jewelry.

Even if you live – or hope to live – in one of coastal Delaware’s finest beach homes, sometimes grabbing that special someone and heading out for a night on the town is something that just has to be done. Even better – not having to worry about heading home at the end of the night.

The climate in coastal Delaware may not be conducive for outdoor activities a full 365 days a year, but for seven months annually – and sometimes a little more – Mother Nature allows us plenty of quality time in the great outdoors.

And if you enjoy a sunny day on the links, the Delaware beaches offer a wide selection of golf courses on which to practice your skills.

For this particular blog entry, we’ve chosen a half dozen of the area’s finest courses. All are located in the area defined as “coastal Delaware,” meaning they are all in the eastern third of Sussex County.
