Market research has proven time and time again that the overwhelming majority of new homebuyers in the 21st century begin their property searches online.

With a larger number of millennials now entering the marketplace, this figure is as high as 87 percent in data reported by some organizations. We’re sure, however, that this comes as a surprise to absolutely no one in the “information age,” when pretty much anything you want or need can be found online with a simple Internet search.

There’s no better place to be in the warm summer months than right here in coastal Delaware, enjoying the bright sunshine, the great restaurants, all of the fun and excitement on the Rehoboth and Bethany Beach boardwalks and just generally relaxing at the beach.

But we also understand that the warm sun, the humid air and the salt water (if you choose to take a dip) can do a number on your body, be it something major like sunburn or something more minor, but still aggravating, like damaging your hair.

A few years ago, the Milton Historical Society made a not so subtle change to the way it promoted the town located at the headwaters of the Broadkill River. Since it’s first days, the organization had promoted the town’s history as being all about the “Three Bs.”

Well, that soon became FOUR Bs.

With the popularity of the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in town, historical organizers felt their traditional “three bs” of Boats (shipbuilding), Buttons (button factories) and Beans (Draper King Cole Plant) needed a fourth “b” – BEER!

In past blog posts, both here on, as well as on, we’ve talked many times about our fabulous local restaurants in coastal Delaware. And there are many, to be sure.

If you missed them, please go back and give them a read, especially the one last week on new eateries in coastal Delaware for late 2015 and the first half of 2016. The Delaware coastal region has certainly become quite well known in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States in recent years for it’s eclectic restaurant scene, of that there is no doubt.
