Does Delaware Offer Anything for NASCAR Fans?

Delaware provides two races per year at the Dover International Speedway for NASCAR fans. Both of these race weekends are very interesting and provide incredible races. Along with the races, you ca enjoy the Monster Mile FanZone, which provides activities for the entire family.

Dover International Speedway - 1131 North DuPont Highway, Dover

The speedway is known as the Monster Mile and provides plenty of fun. The races for this year will happen from May 30th to June 1st and from September 26th to 28th. Both of these races will provide plenty of NASCAR fun.

These weekends won't just feature one race. The first weekend from May 30th to June 1st will feature more than just one race. It will include:

• Lucas Oil 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race - Friday, May 30th
• NASCAR Nationwide Series Race - Saturday, May 31st
• NASCAR Spring Club Series Race - Sunday, June 1st

Practices, qualifying and introductions will also be a part of the weekend fun.

FanZone

The FanZone covers eight acres of space. It's found outside Turn 4 and provides plenty of entertainment for racing fans. You can enjoy driving simulators, rock climbing walls, live music, the Monster FunZone and the Spring Unlimited Experience. This is the perfect area to enjoy plenty of fun with the family.

Within the FanZone, you may be able to actually meet some of the drivers. The live broadcast from SPEED will provide plenty of fun, as well.

Dover Downs Hotel and Casino

The night doesn't have to end after the race. You can enjoy plenty of casino fun within walking distance. The Dover Downs Hotel and Casino provides plenty of live table games and so much more.
