Governors in Lewes Boasts a Prime Location Near the Coast and a Bevy of First Class Amenities
Featuring hundreds of both townhomes and single-family homes built by Schell Brothers, Governors rests on 118 acres and is close to all of the dining, entertainment and shopping options located in and near the "First Town in the First State," as well as neighboring Rehoboth Beach.
When completely built out, the community will include a total of 287 single-family homes and 136 townhomes, all with a Lewes address and within a short drive of everything that Delaware's finest beach resorts have to offer.
The Governors community, like most of the newer ones in Delaware's coastal region, revolves around a state-of-the-art clubhouse. The Governors' clubhouse features a number of great amenities for residents, including a cabana bar, a large swimming pool, a cozy fireplace and private cabanas.
There's even a "tot lot" at the clubhouse swimming pool, perfect for the younger members of the family.
If you'd like to get a bit of exercise before jumping in the pool, Governors offers easy access to the popular Junction and Breakwater Trail, where you can take a leisurely stroll, a morning jog or a long bike ride.
There are also tennis and pickleball courts located within the confines of Governors, so hit the courts and work up a good sweat before jumping in the pool and enjoying your evening cocktail.
All residents of Governors pay Homeowners Association dues monthly, which covers things like grass cutting, snow removal in the winter, garbage pickup, exterior power washing and more.
These fees range, depending on the type of property you own.
We'd love to show you around and demonstrate first hand all of the great reasons for making your permanent home at the Delaware and Maryland beaches.
