Seaside Boat Show Sails Into Ocean City This Presidents Day Weekend
This weekend marks the return of one of the winter's most anticipated events in fabulous Ocean City when the 39th annual Seaside Boat Show takes over the Roland E. Powell Convention Center on Coastal Highway for three fantastic days dedicated to the boating industry.
After a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's show is once against being organized and sponsored by the Ocean City-Berlin Optimist Club.
The three-day event has become the club's largest annual fundraiser, with proceeds used to support several charitable programs within the Maryland resort area.
More than 350 boats and 150 exhibitors are expected at the convention center for 2022, in addition to dozens of boat dealers, featured speakers and even a visit from Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan on Saturday, February 19.
Entrance to this year's boat show will cost you $10 for a one-day ticket or $15 for the weekend. Children are admitted for $1.
Scheduled hours for the 2022 Seaside Boat Show in Ocean City are Friday, February 18, and Saturday, February 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Sunday, February 20.
Experts and professionals in several different areas are expected to attend, including boat towing companies, dock builders, marina owners and representatives from both the United States Coast Guard and Natural Resources Police.
The Seaside Boat Show is held every year on Presidents Day Weekend and normally attracts thousands of attendees from throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
It's the largest indoor boat show on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and is always supported by the Ocean City-Berlin Optimist Club, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022.
